Born and raised in Bath, I grew up with an abundance of curiosity around how the world worked as well as a wide range of hobbies. The curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Land Economy at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. It was a degree combining economics, law and finance, and despite its name, had very little to do with the land!
After graduating, I began my career at J.P. Morgan in their EMEA M&A finance team, where I gained exposure to the world of corporate finance. I then moved to CIL Management Consultants, where I undertook a range of strategy engagements, including Commercial and Vendor Due Diligences for private equity and corporate clients. During this time, I was seconded to a leading private equity firm, focusing on origination for B2B software businesses—an experience that deepened my understanding of the diverse and innovative software landscape.
Beyond work, I am a keen sportswoman. After being a goalkeeper for the junior national field hockey team, I have since traded in the goalposts to become a striker for a much more social hockey team! I also enjoy exploring London’s best restaurants, indulging in a bit of shopping, and spending time with friends.
