Historically, measuring the progress and success of sales, marketing, and customer success teams has existed as a standard practice. But many executives (including myself) felt we were lacking a similar framework for R&D teams. There hasn’t been a definitive structure of how to quantify improvement from R&D despite product being one of the most technical teams.
