NewVoiceMedia to be acquired by Vonage for $350m

We bought into the technology vision of Ashley Unitt and Richard Pickering and the massive market opportunity of shifting the call centre market to the cloud.

Notion is immensely proud to have been part of the NewVoiceMedia journey since we led the Series A investment in 2010.

We bought into the technology vision of Ashley Unitt and Richard Pickering and the massive market opportunity of shifting the call centre market to the cloud. The business has grown revenues 75x since that first investment and we have continued to back the company with our capital and in many other ways since that time.

The company put in place a world class leadership team and repositioned itself as a cloud based contact center provider - changes that Notion were instrumental in driving through - and became one of the largest SaaS companies in Europe and indeed globally.

NewVoiceMedia was recently included for the 3rd consecutive year on the Forbes Cloud 100, a list of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, one of only three European companies that made the cut, and is also a leader in the Gartner Contact Centre as a Service Magic Quadrant.

At Notion our mission is to help to create global category leaders out of Europe and so it’s great to see that happening with NVM, culminating in its sale to Vonage for $350m, representing one of the largest ever exits for a European Saas company and a fund returner for Notion Fund I, with more to come.
