With Notion GP Jos White
Notion Capital’s Jos White will be looking at how the best investment decisions are made and how much of that it can be attributed to art or science. Jos is an entrepreneur turned investor, having founded MessageLabs with his brother Ben and exiting for $700m (one of Europe’s largest SaaS exits to date).
Jos then went on to co-found Notion Capital, one of Europe’s largest and most SaaS-focused VCs. As an investor, Jos has to constantly grapple with the art and science of making an investment, balancing an emotional connection with factual analysis and data. Is it more important to feel a personal connection to the founder and see their potential? Or to look at whether they have market leading SaaS metrics?
This session will focus on how, with experience as former founder and now an investor, he goes about making those decisions.
