They first encountered UBP at their prior startup, GameSparks, where they used UBP to price and bill their customers. They witnessed the advantages it offered, as well as the operational and go-to-market obstacles it presented. After Amazon acquired GameSparks in 2017, they adopted best practices from AWS's world-class UBP business. The company has just raised their Series A and are quickly growing.
