Productising the world’s expert knowledge
The ‘future of work’ is an overused expression - but at Notion we think the best way software can make business workflows more efficient and scalable is by replacing or augmenting your most valuable human processes.
This is why we are so excited about BRYTER, a no-code automation platform for high value expert knowledge.
Some of the world’s most valuable expertise is in the minds and archives of professionals in industries such as law and finance. At the same time, these industries have been struggling to make the transition from analogue to digital, making their services inherently unscalable.
BRYTER makes this transition easy, unlocking a huge amount of value in more complex, knowledge- based industries like legal, finance, compliance and tax. Robotics Process Automation (‘RPA’) is a well established and booming market (led by European unicorn UIPath) but to date the category has been focused on more manual or lower value repetitive tasks.
BRYTER are already working with some world leading firms such as PWC, Accenture, Deloitte, BakerMcKenzie, Simmons & Simmons, HoganLovells and Taylor Wessing. They are automating use cases such as an NDA process, tax treatment for different companies and providing employee contracts.
But this is just the start. Over time companies will develop an ever increasing range of applications for their own use but also for their customers - products that can be sold many times over, transforming the way they leverage their assets and opening up powerful new revenue streams.
When BRYTER say they are changing the way we work, they actually mean it.
Michael Grupp, the co-founder and CEO, was a lawyer himself and has personal experience of the pain of trying to scale legal services. He founded the business alongside Micha Bues and Mic Hübl (‘the three Michaels’), a multi-talented group with complementary skills and a very exciting vision for the future.
We are thrilled to be joining them (together with our friends at Accel and Cavalry) in their mission to automate the world’s expert knowledge and believe this company will be a defining force in the future of work movement.
Why Notion? A note from the founders
Since first meeting Jos, he has impressed us with his early and immediate understanding of our product and business strategy whilst providing valuable feedback along the way. It is impressive to see the culture and knowledge exchange he and his partners have created within the Notion portfolio. They have super solid ventures and nurture an open (almost radically transparent) exchange on tactics, best practices and experiences on the highest level.
In the last few years, Notion has developed into one of the most knowledgeable and hands-on VCs for the SaaS space in Europe - we are happy and excited to get their support. With an ever-increasing presence in the UK, Notion are proving to be the strategic partner we were looking for.
