We are excited to announce that starting today, Notion will be working alongside Microsoft Ventures on Innovate.AI, a global competition aimed at uncovering the next generation of startups working to progress the future of artificial intelligence. Startups with less than four million USD in total funding and a product, service or platform which utilizes AI techniques, as defined by relevant scientific research, will be able to submit their entries via the Microsoft Ventures website. Contestants will compete for a combined $3.5m USD in venture funding, with full details on how applicants will be judged being available on the Microsoft Ventures site.

We are looking forward to working with Microsoft on this, a company that has impressed us with applications like Skype translator, pushed cutting edge research projects like Malmo, democratized ML building blocks via Azure, and benefits from exceptional advisory from the likes of Yoshua Bengio.
